A 20” x 28” signed and sealed original acrylic painting on canvas.
“Secretariat” is loosely modeled after the actual racing legend. I became inspired to paint this after a commission to paint a realistic rendering of Secretariat fell through. I took it upon myself to paint a horse anyways and added an impressionistic flare. What resulted was a piece that was light, fresh, and airy. I can feel the sun’s warmth on the horse’s back and the breeze across his face. I really enjoy this one.
